Our vision is to lead the transformation towards efficient, adaptable, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing. We aim to facilitate the production of superior food, feed, and other products at lower costs, offering a wider choice, closer to market, and with minimal environmental impact.

Our mission

Our mission is to empower manufacturers to achieve efficiency, adaptability, resilience, and sustainability in their operations. We are committed to:

  • Optimizing Production Efficiency: Utilizing advanced IoT and data analytics to streamline processes, reduce waste, and boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Enhancing Supply Chain Resilience: Fostering transparency between stakeholders and incentivizing the reshoring of factories. Reshoring brings production closer to markets, reducing logistics and environmental costs while improving efficiency.
  • Championing Sustainability: Minimizing environmental impact by reducing energy consumption, waste, and carbon footprints, while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Supporting Workforce Development: Maintaining consistent quality and safety standards through automation and innovation, reducing dependence on low-wage jobs, digitally retaining and passing on knowledge, and helping specialists work more effectively in a tight labour market.
  • Providing Superior Products: Enabling the production of high-quality food, feed, and other products at lower costs, offering a wider choice to consumers.
 

Our story

The innius platform started life as a research project back in October 2014. The research project looked into how we could leverage extensive experience in building software for the manufacturing sector together with the emerging trends at that time, namely; big data, cloud computing, mobile, social and IoT. The team and project evolved quickly. By May 2016 the project had delivered a working product to its first customer. innius was born. Since then, innius has been in a state of continual improvement and development.

Did you know?

Ever wondered what our name means? Well, it derives from the phrase ‘Inside Genius’, hence: In.. ..nius. And here’s another secret we’ll let you in on, our logo is the letter ‘G for Genius’ turned 90o clockwise.

We use a capital ‘I’ when referring to our company Innius B.V. and a small ‘i’ when referring to our innius software platform.
